Islamabad : Three militants were killed in a shootout with security forces in Pakistan's Balochistan province, media reported on Sunday.
According to security sources, the Frontier Corps (FC) and other security troops launched a large-scale search operation in Johan and Burg areas of Mastung district, leading to an exchange of fire between the militants and security forces, Geo news reported.
The troops were assisted by eight helicopters.During the shootout, three militant camps were also destroyed.
Meanwhile, four people were killed and six others injured in firing over old enmity in Awaran district while two bodies were recovered from Washuk district.
