Thousands come out in Ireland to protest death of pregnant Indian woman
Dublin, Nov 16: Thousands of protesters came out on Wednesday outside Ireland's parliament to demand easing of tough abortion rules after pregnant Indian woman Savita died after being repeatedly denied abortion in an Irish hospital.
"I only heard about it when I woke up this morning and I was appalled. I just think it's awful that someone would die because of a bad decision, or because of people not bothering to make a decision that would have changed things for her," said one female protester.
