Quetta,Jan 10: Police say a bomb that appeared to be targeting paramilitary soldiers has exploded in a commercial area in southwest Pakistan, killing 11 people.
Senior police officer Zubair Mehmood says the blast on Thursday also wounded 27 people, including three security officials. The attack took place in Quetta, the
capital of Balochistan province.
Another police officer, Mohammed Rafique, says the bomb exploded near a vehicle carrying paramilitary soldiers.
