Musharraf's farmhouse made 'satellite facility' of hospital

Islamabad: In an unprecedented move, the farmhouse of former Pakistani dictator Pervez Musharraf has been declared as a 'satellite facility' of the military hospital where he was admitted for three months following heart problems.A statement



The court accepted Musharraf's application requesting exemption from today's hearing and adjourned for the day.  

The judges' detention case, based on an FIR against the retired general by lawyer Chaudhry Mohammad Aslam Ghumman, was registered in August 2009.

Ghumman had sought legal proceedings be initiated against Musharraf for detaining over 60 judges, including then chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, after proclamation of a state of emergency in Pakistan on November 3, 2007.
