Know why living in Syria is risky for a journalist

New Delhi: Syria is one of the deadliest places in the world for journalists. According to the Committee to Protect Journalists, at least 29 journalists were killed in Syria in 2013 and 31 in 2012.

The killings included notable war correspondents like Marie Colvin and Remi Ochlik who were killed in a shelling where they were covering the Homs battle.

Colvin was a very brave and determined reporter who could risk her life for the welfare of informing people about the ongoing crisis.
