Los Angeles: A US man sued McDonald's for 1.5 million dollar on the fact that he was given only one napkin with his meal.
He claimed he was given one tissue paper when he ordered a Quarter Pounder Deluxe, but when he went to the counter to ask for more, he was refused by the manager.
Webster Lucas visited the restaurant Pacoima, California, on January 29 this year.
Lucas, an African American has alleged the restaurant to refuse him more napkins on the fact that he is a black.
He complains that the manager was racist and mumbled "you people" when Lucas asked for more napkins.
Now Lucas is taking the giant restaurant chain to court claiming he suffered "undue mental anguish".
He later emailed a complaint to the general manager saying he was now unable to work because of the "intentional infliction of emotional distress".
McDonald's replied: "Our goal is 100 per cent customer satisfaction and that means friendly service with every visit without exception."
Lucas claims that being offered free burgers by McDonald's was an insult.
