3. .22-calibre Rohm RG-14 revolver (shot at Reagan) This German made pistol is a continuation of the budget revolver line. This little .22 caliber revolver carries on the Rohm legacy of making cheap, low quality, piece of crap guns. In 1981 a man named John Hinckley Jr. used an RG14 in an attempt to assassinate President Ronald Reagan. The President spent two weeks in hospital due to internal injuries by bullet and survived the assassination.
