Nairobi: Survivors of the Westgate Mall described on Tuesday their experience of the militant attack that left dozens of civilians killed in a Nairobi mall.
One of them, Syed Ibrahim told Sky News that the militants let him go.
"They said that 'we won't do anything to you, go, because you have been shot already'," Ibrahim said
Another injured survivor, Shameem Marloo believes that kind of attack could have happened in any country, "so keep the tourists coming."
Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta said earlier on Tuesday that the attack had left 240 casualties including 61 civilians whose bodies have been recovered so far and six members of the security forces, while some 175 were injured, including 62 who remain hospitalised.
