New Delhi: An Indian prisoner was found dead in a Pakistani jail under mysterious circumstances, according to reports on Tuesday.
Reports said that the prisoner was identified as Kishore Bhagwan and was lodged in Karachi's Landhi jail.
His body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, they added.
Sarabjit Singh, an Indian prisoner who was on death row in a Pakistani jail since 1991, died in May 2013 following severe head injuries inflicted by six fellow inmates at Lahore's Kot Lakhpat jail.
Singh, 49, convicted for spying and being involved in a series of bombings in Lahore and Faisalabad that killed 14 people, had been in a coma and later died of a cardiac arrest.
