Washington: Former US president George Bush was discharged from hospital after being treated for a broken neck bone, a media report said.
The former president was discharged on Sunday and he is experiencing no complications or further damage, said Jim McGrath, Bush's spokesman.
"A very grateful President GeorgeHWBush was discharged from @MaineMed after four days of treatment for a fractured vertebrae," McGrath said on Twitter.
Bush, 91, broke his C2 vertebrae after falling at his home and spent four days in a hospital in Portland. He will have to wear a neck brace till complete recovery.
Bush suffers from a form of Parkinson's that makes impossible to walk and he moves around in a wheelchair.
