Hanoi: Floods and landslides have killed at least eight people in Vietnam, officials said Thursday.
The Central Committee for Flood and Storm Control said one person died in Ha Giang province, three in Lai Chau and four in Lao Cai, Xinhua reported.
At least 14 people were injured and 10 others are still missing.
Heavy rains also caused severe damage to houses and crops.
