Coronavirus Update: May 30, 2020 | As it happened

A total of 313 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Himachal Pradesh till date, of which 107 are recovered cases, 197 are active cases and 5 deaths.

1,510 new positive cases of COVID-19 and 54 deaths reported today; the total number of positive cases in Mumbai is now 38,220. Total of 1,227 people have lost their lives till date.

262 new COVID-19 cases and 12 deaths in the last 24 hours reported, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 7,701 and death toll stands at 213.

Telangana reports 60 new COVID-19 positive cases today, taking the total number of cases in the state to 2499. A total of 1,412 people have been discharged from hospitals in the state. 77 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19.

246 new positive cases and 9 deaths have been reported today, taking the total number of positive cases in Madhya Pradesh to 7,891, of which 4,444 patients have been cured and discharged. The death toll stands at 343.

The total number of containment zones in Delhi is now 122, total of 53 zones have been de-contained till date.

A total of 4,462 COVID-19 patients have recovered in Uttar Pradesh till date. The death toll in the state stands at 204. The recovery rate is 59%.

43 new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in Assam, taking the total number of cases to 1100. The number of active cases stand at 968.

150 more COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in Bihar, taking the total number of cases to 3509.

Andhra Pradesh reports 70 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to 2944. Number of active cases stand at 792

11 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the state till 2 pm today, the total number of cases to 727. 

Several current and former members of the government's Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) have expressed concern that easing of lockdown regulations could lead to the second wave of infections.

• Out of the total patients, only 2100 are in hospitals rest are undergoing treatment at their homes. 6500 beds are ready till date and 9500 beds will be ready by another week
