405 new COVID-19 positive cases and 2 deaths reported in Jharkhand till 10 pm today. The total number of cases stands at 7,166 including 3,845 active cases and 67 deaths.

1,567 new COVID-19 positive cases and 9 deaths reported in Telangana today. The total number of cases stands at 50,826 including 11,052 active cases, 39,327 recovered cases, and 447 deaths.

886 new COVID-19 positive cases and 11 deaths have been reported in Rajasthan reported till 8.30 pm today. The total number of cases stands at 33,220 including 8,811 active cases and 594 deaths.

Goa recorded 174 new COVID-19 cases today, taking the total number of cases in the State to 4,350 out of which 1,666 cases are active and 2,655 have recovered. The death toll stands at 29.

1,041 COVID-19 positive cases, 1,415 recovered/discharged/migrated and 26 deaths reported in Delhi today. 1,27,364 total positive cases, 1,09,065 recovered/discharged/migrated and 3,745 deaths reported in the national capital so far.

19 new cases reported in Andaman and Nicobar Islands today taking the total number of COVID-19 positive cases here to 240, including 170 discharged.

2,436 new COVID-19 positive cases and 34 deaths have been reported in West Bengal today. The total number of cases now stands at 51,757 in the State including 18,846 active cases, 31,656 discharged cases, and 1,255 deaths.

Madhya Pradesh reported 632 new COVID-19 positive cases and 10 deaths today, taking the total number of cases to 25,474 including 780 deaths and 7,335 active cases.

145 new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in Uttarakhand today, taking the total number of cases to 5,445.

Today 1,257 new COVID-19 positive cases and 55 deaths have been reported in Mumbai. The total number of cases rise to 1,05,829 and death toll is at 5,927.

718 new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in Jammu and Kashmir today, 117 from Jammu and 601 from Kashmir division, taking the total number of cases to 16,429. The death toll rises to 282 after 9 deaths were reported today.

789 new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in Haryana today, taking the total number of cases to 28,975.

9,895 new COVID-19 positive cases and 298 deaths have been reported in Maharashtra today. The total number of positive cases now stand at 3,47,502 including 1,36,980 active cases, 1,94,253 discharged cases and 12,854 deaths.

Karnataka reported 5,030 new COVID-19 positive cases of which 2207 cases are from Bengaluru Urban. Total number of cases now at 80,863 and death toll rises to 1,616 after 97 deaths were reported today.

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Mizoram is 326 including 184 cured/discharged cases and 142 active cases.

Amitabh Bachchan, who is undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai after being tested positive for coronavirus, refuted the reports of him testing negative for the virus. He took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "This news is incorrect, irresponsible, fake and an incorrigible lie."

2,529 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours. Total active cases now stand at 21,003. A total of 35,803 people have been discharged after recovering from the disease. The death toll is at 1,298.

Jharkhand Assembly Secretariat sealed till July 27 for disinfection after reports of some of the staff and members of the Assembly testing positive for COVID-19. All meetings of the Assembly committees will remain suspended till July 31 with immediate effect.

Ticket examiners start checking tickets by scanning QR codes printed on tickets under Moradabad division of Northern Railway zone, in order to reduce human-to-human contact in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. Divisional Manager Tarun Prakash says, "Initiative was launched on July 22."
