1,856 COVID cases detected today in Assam, out of 36,180 tests done in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate is 5.12%. The total number of cases now at 87,908 including 63120 discharges, 24,558 active cases and 227 deaths. 

67 new COVID-19 cases reported in Andaman & Nicobar taking the total cases to 2,747 including 32 deaths and 971 active cases. 

1,147  new COVID-19 cases, 987 recovered cases and 14 deaths reported in Madhya Pradesh today. The total number of cases now at 50,640 including 10,928 active cases, 38,527 recoveries and 1,185 deaths. 

1,203 new COVID-19 cases, 620 cured cases and 7 deaths reported today in Haryana. The total number of COVID cases stands at 52,129 in the state till date, out of which 8,131 are active cases, 43,413 are recovered cases and 585 people have died so far. 

1,406 new COVID-19 cases, 1,235 recoveries, and 42 deaths reported in Mumbai today. The total number of positive cases increase to 1,34,223 in Mumbai, including 18,297 active cases, 1,08,268 recovered cases, and 7,353 deaths. 

Rajasthan reported 1,335 new COVID-19 cases and 12 deaths today, taking total cases to 67,954, including 14,525 active cases and 933 deaths. 

385 new COVID-19 cases reported in Goa today, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 13,484 including 3,809 active cases, 9,540 recovered cases and 135 deaths. 

Karnataka Government issued oxygen therapy protocol for 'judicious use of oxygen as a therapy to treat COVID-19 patients'.

The total tally of COVID-19 positive cases rises to 4,617 in Himachal Pradesh, including 1,413 active cases, 3,132 recovered cases and 23 deaths till date. 

Karnataka reported 7,571 cases (2,948 in Bengaluru), 6,561 discharges and 93 deaths, taking total cases to 2,64,546 including 1,76,942 discharges and 4,522 deaths. 

116 COVID19 cases and 2 deaths reported in Chandigarh today. The total number of cases rises to 2,631, including 1,170 active cases, 1,426 recoveries, and 33 deaths till now. 

1,513 new COVID19 cases, 856 cured cases, and 34 deaths reported in Punjab today. The total number of cases rises to 39,327, including 14,443 active cases, 23,893 recovered cases, and 991 deaths so far. 

Nepal to allow international flights from September 1 with some restrictive measures and conditions, said Yubaraj Khatiwada, Spokesperson of Government of Nepal. 

14,161 new COVID-19 cases, 11,749 recoveries, and 339 deaths reported in Maharashtra today. The total number of COVID cases rises to 6,57,450 in the state, which includes  4,70,873 recovered cases, 1,64,562 active cases, and 21,698 deaths till date. 

3,245 new COVID-19 cases, 3,082 recovered cases and 55 deaths reported in West Bengal today. Total number of COVID cases stands at 1,32,364 in the state, including 27,804 active cases, 1,01,871 discharged cases and 2,689 deaths so far. 

Madhya Pradesh PWD Minister Gopal Bhargava says, his COVID-19 antigen test report is positive.

447 new COVID-19 cases, 243 treated/cured cases reported in Uttarakhand today. The total positive cases in the state stand at 14,043 including 4,164 active cases, 9,676 recovered and 192 deaths. 

Delhi reports 1,250 new COVID-19 positive cases, 1,082 discharges/recoveries and 13 deaths. The total number of cases now at 1,58,604 including 1,42,908 recovered cases, 11,426 active cases and 4,270 deaths.

654 new COVID-19 cases reported from Jammu and Kashmir today, 114 from Jammu division, and 540 from Kashmir division, taking the total number of cases in the Union Territory to 31,371. The death toll is at 593. 

1,983 new COVID-19 cases, 1,419 recoveries and 12 deaths reported in Kerala in the last 24 hours. There are 18,673 active cases and 35,247 have recovered so far. 

The number of COVID-19 active cases in Mizoram stands at 475. 

9,544 new COVID-19 cases, 8,827 recoveries and 91 deaths reported in Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to 3,34,940 including 87,803 active cases, 2,44,045 recoveries and 3,092 deaths. 

Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Friday announced that all offices and shops except those selling essential items will remain closed in Haryana on every Saturday and Sunday due to COVID-19.
