    The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha crossed the 6,000 mark with 218 fresh cases in last 24 hours, said the health department on Friday. The total confirmed cases in the state now stand at 6180. Out of the fresh cases, 198 cases were reported from various quarantine centres and 20 cases are local contacts.

    Coronavirus updates from Andhra Pradesh

    Andhra Pradesh reported its highest ever single-day tally on Friday, with 605 COVID-19 cases reported over the past 24 hours. The tally includes returnees from other states and overseas. The state nodal officer reported that the overall tally of corona cases touched 11,489 during the 24 hours ending 9 a.m., Friday.

    Delhi COVID-19 recovery rate above 60%

    COVID-19 recovery rate in Delhi has surged past 60 per cent as per the latest figures issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW). Delhi has seen a total of 73,780 COVID-19 cases thus far, out of these 44,765 people have recovered after contracting the virus. This takes the recovery rate in the national capital to 60.6 per cent.
