J&K: Mughal Road closed for vehicular traffic after snowfall
The Mughal Road, an alternate link between the Kashmir Valley and the rest of the country, was closed for vehicular traffic on Saturday following the snowfall, officials said.
The road, connecting the twin districts of Poonch and Rajouri in the Jammu region with south Kashmir's Shopian, was closed as a precautionary measure in view of snowfall in the high altitude Peer Ki Gali and adjoining areas, they said.

Army holds pre-recruitment training camp in J-K's Poonch
The Army on Saturday started a pre-recruitment training camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district with an aim to provide employment opportunities and prepare the local youth to join the armed forces, a defence spokesperson said.
The camp was conducted at Salotri area of Poonch district and was heavily subscribed by youth seeking to join the Army, the spokesperson said.

Nagaland govt to impose Rs 100 fine on people not wearing mask
The Nagaland government has decided to impose a fine of Rs 100 on people who don't wear face masks in public places and Rs 500 on institutions without handwashing facilities with immediate effect, an official said on Saturday.
The Nagaland Disaster Management Authority observed that wearing masks, especially in public places, making the provision of handwashing facility by various establishments, maintaining physical distance in high-risk settings, are often not being followed which poses a serious risk of infection not
only to the defaulters but also to other people around them, said Chief Secretary J Alam in an order issued on Friday. -

Delhi air quality likely to go 'severe' today
Delhi's air quality remained “very poor” on Saturday morning and emission from firecrackers and calm winds may push it to the “severe” zone, according to government agencies and weather experts.
The Ministry of Earth Sciences' air quality monitor, SAFAR, said the PM2.5 concentration in Delhi on Diwali is likely to be the “lowest” in the last four years if no firecrackers are burnt.
Pollution levels in Delhi during the Diwali period are likely to remain in the higher end of the “very poor” category in the absence of emissions due to fireworks, it said.

Telangana COVID-19 tally
Telangana recorded 1,050 fresh coronavirus cases taking the tally to over 2.56 lakh while four fatalities pushed the toll to 1,401.
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most number of cases with 232, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri 90 and Rangareddy 75, a government bulletin said on Friday providing details as of 8 pm on November 13.

Odisha coronavirus case tally
At least 1,018 more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha, raising the tally to 3,07,004 on Friday, while 12 fresh fatalities pushed the toll to 1,495, a health department official said.
Of the 1,018 new cases, 585 were reported from various quarantine centres and the rest detected during contact tracing.
