Eight people killed
New Delhi: As many as eight people were killed in a bomb blast near Police Lines in Qila Gujar Singh area of Lahore on Tuesday.
As reported by Express Tribune, a suicide bomber came to a hotel outside the Police Lines and blew him up. It was a high intensity blast as many of the vehicles caught fire, however it is under control now.
Rescue teams have shifted the bodies and the injured to hospitals while fire tenders also arrived on the site. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, though the country faces a Taliban insurgency and other threats from Islamic extremist groups.
