Margaret Thatcher, the first woman to become UK's Prime Minister had to lose weight before the 1979 elections.

She had a strict diet regime; her secret diet included 28 eggs a week, grapefruit, black tea or coffee.

The iron lady had two eggs each weekday lunch. Steak, fish, lamb chops were served in dinner.

Through this crash diet plan which was for two weeks, she lost 20lb.
