Lahore: After Pakistan Rangers requested BSF to cancel the beating retreat ceremony at Wagah border for the next three days, the BSF chief DK Pathak agreed for the same.
The journalists were told to move out of the area that was cordoned off by the security personnel's. The Indian side of Wagah border was "safe" after blast on Pakistani side said an official to news agencies.
The footage showed shops and buildings razed around the blast crater on the television where the rescue personnels rushed to the site with emergency declared in all Lahore hospitals.
President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed their grief over the loss of lives, reported Radio Pakistan . PM Sharif sought a report on the incident and directed the concerned authorities to give the best medical treatment to the injured people.
