New Delhi: What do people, at times, prefer to live with dead bodies of their dear ones, instead of burying or cremating them? Psychoanalysts have different reasons, but the basic underlying motif is that human beings still believe they can bring their dear ones alive even after death. Even elephants bury their dead, but not so, some of the human beings who prefer to live with the bodies of their dear ones. These include spouses unwilling to let go of their companions, panicked murderers, depraved lunatics, and sad lonely people who just want someone (even a corpse) to sit next to them. Woman watched NASCAR for a year with dead bodyCharles Zigler of Jackson, Michigan died in December 2010.Eighteen months later he was still sitting in his armchair, watching TV.That's because 72-year-old Linda Chase, with whom he shared a house for more than ten years, decided to keep Zigler's corpse well after he drew his final breath.Chase was 67 when he died.
