Maryland police have reported a “possible shooting” near the National Security Agency (NSA) headquarters.
NBC News aired aerial images of what appeared to be police surrounding a man on the ground in handcuffs. A black SUV appeared to hwere visible in the vehicle's front windows.
The local ABC affiliate reported that three people were injured and a suspect was arrested.
The NSA said the situation was under control.
The White House, in its official statement, said that President Donald Trump has been briefed about the incident.
