Washington: The White House today tweeted a video which shows US President Barack Obama and wife Michelle Obama waving their arms in the air and whopping side to side, celebrating Star Wars Day with a dance along with R2-D2, the popular characters from the franchise.
This is not the first appearance of Star Wars characters in the White House. In March this year, the stormtroopers marked their appearance at the White House Easter Egg Roll and one of them also bumped the President.
Dancing enthusiastically with wife, Obama could be heard asking stormtroopers to join in saying 'come on, come on.'
May 4 is a day when the world celebrates the day as Star Wars Day because of its similarity to the pronunciation of the film’s popular tagline: 'May the force be with you'.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg also marked the occasion by inviting Chewbacca, two Ewoks, a Rebel soldier and an Imperial stormtrooper in to his firm’s headquarter for a team meeting.
