Pakistan's media is coming up with multiple theories to justify their stance that it was India that orchestrated the Uri terror attack.
Here's how Pakistan's News International has come to the above conclusion.
The first and foremost conclusion stated that India staged the massacre of its own soldiers to divert attention from the army brutality in violence-hit Kashmir, thus undermining Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's address at the UN General Assembly session.
According to Pakistan's News International, India's so-called "staged attack" in Uri had multiple goals.
"It is said that from this false flag operation, India wants to achieve more than one targets, including accusing Pakistan of backing terrorism, diverting the world attention from the killings by its forces in occupied Kashmir, undermining Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's address at the UN General Assembly session,” it said.
But what takes the cake is it latest conspiracy theory sans logic.
According to the daily, the attack was orchestrated by India to antagonise the Sikhs from supporting the Muslims’ struggle in Kashmir.
"Sources in the security establishment insist that the military brigade headquarter (in Uri), which has been the target of what is believed to be India's false flag operation, is Sikh dominated, chosen deliberately to antagonise the Sikhs from supporting the Muslims' struggle in Kashmir," the Pakistani newspaper said today.
As evidence to show Uri was staged by India, the newspaper asked how terrorists could sneak in so easily.
"India has erected a type-A fence all along the Line of Control besides installing state-of-the-art laser sensors to detect any cross LoC movement,” the newspaper wrote.
A source is quoted as telling the paper: "How then a handful of terrorists could sneak across, dodging the third largest army of the planet earth with its hi-tech gadgets and their ferocious K9 force?"
More evidence?
"Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who is known for spewing venom against Pakistan, was to leave for his Russian tour on September 17 but cancelled his trip one day prior to the impending attack in Uri.
'Hope he wasn't waiting to see the unfolding of virtual play which he and (India's National Security Advisor) Ajit Doval had jointly scripted,' a source suggested."
All major Pakistani newspapers had made these bizarre conclusions, echoing the country’s official (and perpetual) stand of denial.

Editorials in Pakistani media appeared to blamed India for “jumping the gun” to put the blame on Islamabad and said that the timing was suspicious because it coincided with Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif’s address at the United Nations General Assembly where he is expected to rake up the Kashmir issue.
Top dailies including, the Dawn, the Pakistan Observer and the Express Tribune had questioned India's stance of blaming Pakistan for the Sunday's attack that resulted in the death of 18 Indian soldiers.
