Delhi: UP CM Yogi Adityanath meets PM Modi to brief him about development works in Ayodhya

PM Modi reviewed the development in Ayodhya as both the Central and the state governments are making constant efforts to bring the city to a world-class tourism level.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. According to sources, the UP CM updated the PM on the status of the Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya and other development projects in the holy city.

According to sources, PM Modi inquired about the land available with the government in Ayodhya and asked to increase public infrastructure to the maximum. The PM asked CM Yogi to pay attention to the development of all the facilities ranging from parking and lodges, they said. 

Apart from this, there was also discussion about building a temple museum, sources added.

"Today in New Delhi paid a courtesy visit to respected Prime Minister @narendramodi. Your invaluable guidance gives strength to 'New Uttar Pradesh' and it will play an important role in our the resolution of 'Developed India @ 2047'. Thank you very much for taking the valuable time out of your busy schedule!," UP CM posted on X.

Along with the Chief Minister, the Divisional Commissioner and the District Magistrate also called on the Prime Minister, said sources.

Nripendra Mishra, who is the chairman of the Ram Mandir Bhavan Nirman Samiti, was also present at the PM's residence, they added.

Today's meeting was important as the date for Prana Pratishtha could be finalised. 

The Prime Minister took stock of the development of Ayodhya as the central and state governments are making constant efforts to bring the city to a world-class tourism level.
