Wrestlers protest: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited Jantar Mantar and extended his support to the protesting wrestlers, while urging other political parties to do the same.
Wrestlers Protest Highlights: Sources in the Delhi Police have said that it will extend security to wrestlers along with the complainants who have been protesting to get a case filed against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh relating to the sexual assault of female wrestlers. Singh was earlier booked under sections of outraging the modesty of a woman, stalking, and section 10 of the POCSO Act in two FIRs. Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited Jantar Mantar and extended his support to the protesting wrestlers, while urging other political parties to do the same. The Indian Women's Press Corps also urged the government to take an empathetic view on the issue. Earlier in the day, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had also met the protesting wrestlers at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi and fumed why the government was still silent on the issue despite the agitation entering the second week. The Congress general secretary was seen hearing out ace women wrestlers such as Sakshi Malik and Vinesh Phogat.

Wrestlers protest: Kapil Sibal slams WFI chief, says accused has 'no conscience'
Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal on Saturday hit out at Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is facing allegations of sexual harassment levelled by seven women wrestlers, and said the accused "has no conscience".
Senior advocate Sibal is appearing for the wrestlers in the Supreme Court.

Priyanka calls for WFI chief Brij Bhushan's ouster
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra expressed solidarity with protesting wrestlers after meeting them at Jantar Mantar here on Saturday and called for the removal of WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is facing allegations of sexual harassment levelled by women grapplers.
The Congress general secretary accused the government of "protecting" Singh. Calling for the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief's ouster from the post, Priyanka Gandhi said, "See, there are serious allegations against this person, he should first resign and be removed from the post. Till he is in that post, he will continue to exert pressure and keep destroying people's careers."
"If that person is there on a post through which he can destroy the careers of wrestlers and exert pressure, then what is the meaning of FIRs and investigation," she said.
