New Delhi: This scintillating hotbod and US-based doctor surely has cure for screen ailments.
Starting with her debut in the multi-starrer “Gaja Gamini”, she won recognition with her vibrant screen presence in the role of Abhisarika in her debut film directed by the legendary painter M.F.Hussain.
She was crowned Miss Karnataka in 1988. In 1989, she won the Miss India contest, however, the award was revoked, as she had an American passport.She was then crowned Miss Iowa USA in 1994 as Dr.Callie Pandit.
Kalpana Pandit was born in Nanjangud, Karnataka, and is the grand daughter of Ayurvedic physician, B. V. Pandit. After securing an MBBS degree, she obtained her M.D. in internal medicine, from USA.
