Finally the boat was sighted by MV Morning Glory-5 at about 3:30 pm on Friday. Air surveillance was maintained by Coast Guard's Dornier aircraft till the arrival of Coast Guard ship Lakshmibai.
The Coast Guard ship reached the spot at 1 am on Saturday and rescued both the fishermen. They were provided medical assistance and food on board the ship, while the fishing boat was taken under tow.
