Buoyed over it's soil's son becoming the Prime Minister of India, this village is being decorated for the swearing-in ceremony on Monday.
Series of light bulbs have been put up across the town-the homes, trees and the public places-which will be lit up on Monday to beautify the city.
Not only this, the village will host dinner for around 10000 people. Motichur Laddu, Modi peda, Modi Jilebi, Modi Fafda, Samosa are some of the items of the menu that will be prepared tomorrow to mark the occasion.
The fencing around Sharmistha Lake and historic Hatkeshwar Temple too have been decorated with lights.
A screen has also been placed near the pond to watch live coverage of the swearing-in ceremony from Rashtrapati Bhawan.
A Maha aarti in the temple on Friday to celebrate victory of Narendra Modi will be performed. On the polling day too, 125 kg of prasad was offered to Lord Shiva and later distributed in the village.
