New Delhi: The anti-Bahuguna camp is now on overdrive in Uttarakhand politics.
According to reports many senior Congress leaders, including State Finance Minister Indira Hridayesh, State Agriculture Minister Harak Singh Rawat and Food Supply Minister Pritam Singh, are in Delhi and Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna may be replaced within a couple of days.The decision is expected to be announced before February 6.
Sources claim that Harish Rawat is ahead in the race and seems to be the main contender if Bahuguna is shown the door.
On the other hand Finance Minister Indira Hridayesh has already shocked Congressmen by making a claim for the top post.
Before heading for Delhi on Friday evening, she said, “Considering my long political experience, I am definitely a contender for the post. It will be beneficial for the state and the Congress.”
