Dehradun, Jun 30: All policemen of Uttarakhand police were today evacuated from the holy town of Kedarnath ravaged by flash flood.
This security personel were facing shortage of food for the last four days. They were evacuated today after the weather cleared.
The state government has decided not to conduct mass cremation of unclaimed bodies in the presence of police and security personnel only.
Officials of Public Works department, health, forest and local administration will conduct a joint operation for carrying out mass cremations.
Sources said, roads would be repaired on priority, and only then the mass cremation of unclaimed bodies would take place.
