Telangana Congress leaders alleged that chief minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy was not acting strongly against the perpetrators.
Rajya Sabha member Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar criticised Chief Minister Reddy, saying he was not acting tough against the agitators who had built the tomb at Tirupati, in his native Chittoor district.
In a letter written to the chief minister On Wednesday, the MP demanded that Kiran Reddy should act against the perpetrators of the act in Tirupati.
Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar smelt the hand of TDP workers behind this. Hee said, “Everybody knows that Sonia Gandhi has decided to bifurcate AP only after TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu gave his consent. If at all any tomb is to be built for those responsible for the division of AP, then it should be for Naidu.”
TRS MP G Vivekananda said Sonia Gandhi, like a true statesman, decided on Telangana, after all major political parties in AP agreed.
