Noida, Oct 7: A house owner Ramnath and his neighbour tenant Rambali were watching the cleaning of a deep manhole in their locality in Sector 8 on Thursday, when they suddenly lost balance and fell into the 20-feet deep sewer.
At first, local residents tried to rescue them, but when they failed they called in the police and fire brigade.
The two were sent to district hospital in a critical condition, where they succumbed to injuries.
