New Delhi, Aug 5 : Two teenagers were picked up by Delhi police on Friday and after being taken to Mukherjee Nagar police station, they were brutally thrashed, and asked "to dance" at the point of a service revolver..
Later, relatives of the youths staged a noisy protest at the police station, and senior police officials had to rush to the spot to control the situation.
Both the policemen, who took part in the beatings, are absconding. They have been suspended.
One of the teenagers said, they were walking on the streets in the evening, when they had an altercation with a third youth.
Two patrolling policemen stopped the teenagers, took both of them to the police station, and brutally beat them up.
One of the policemen whipped out his service revolver, poiinted at the teenagers and asked them to dance, the victims said.
