Faridabad: The first semi high-speed train between Delhi and Agra was today flagged off for a trial run. The train started from New Delhi Railway Station at 11.15 AM and reached Agra at 1.05 PM taking total travel time of 110 minutes, railway sources said.
It had reached Faridabad in 22 minutes at 11.37 AM following which it passed through Ballabgarh station at 11.43 AM and crossed Palwal which is about 20 kilometers away at 11.53 AM.
On the return journey, it started at 2 PM and reached Delhi in 105 minutes, improving its time by 5 minutes, the sources said.
