Ranchi: Tremors were felt in several parts of Jharkhand today.
Mild tremors shook Ranchi, Dumka, Sahibganj, Lohardaga and other parts of the state around 12.42 pm, officials said.
There was no report of any casualty or damage to property, they added.
A report from Jamshedpur said that Fresh tremor was felt in and around the steel city of Jamshedpur today causing panic among residents, particularly those living in multi-story buildings.
People ran out of their homes in panic in several localities including Mango here.
The Deputy Development Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Lal Mohan Mahato said there was no report of any loss of property or life as yet.
