2. Supreme Court agrees to hear plea against Amit Shah
New Delhi: Sacked Gujarat police officer Sanjiv Bhat has moved the Supreme Court, seeking an investigation into the role of BJP chief Amit Shah and two others for what he called their role in trying to subvert the process of justice in the 2002 Gujarat riots cases.
Senior advocate Indira Jaising who was representing Mr Bhat, requested Chief Justice HL Dattu to take up the case at the earliest and the court agreed to hear it tomorrow.
