Jaipur: A two-and-a-half-year-old boy Radheshyam fell into a 200-feet deep borewell in Rajasthan's Churu district on Monday evening while he was trying to cross over the open shaft which was covered with a sack.
Local police and firemen first tried to rescue the boy but local residents were not able to rescue the child up because of a big stone stuck inside the borewell.
Later Army was called in to rescue the boy.
A team from South Western Command reached Monday midnight and has expedited rescue work.
The rescue operation to save the boy is on.
Army personnel are trying their best to rescue the trapped child.
