New Delhi: Following is the timeline of how Damini, the braveheart  fought against death till the end: ​December 16, 2012: Damini (name changed), a paramedic student, watches a movie with her friend in Delhi's Saket mall



December 25: Damini appeared to be getting better with her doctor hoping for an optimistic outcome despite having to remove almost all of her small intestine due to gangrene. She manages to give a statement to a magistrate.



This statement lead to an ugly political spat with CM Sheila Dikshit complaining to Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde that the police were interfering  with the process.
