New Delhi, Nov 2: About 50 Tibetans in exile held a noisy protest outside the Chinese embassy in New Delhi on Wednesday against Chinese rule over the Himalayan region of Tibet.
Activists of the Tibetan Youth Congress carried Tibetan flags outside the heavily-guarded embassy and chanted slogans against China.
They were detained and carried away by police personnel into a waiting police vehicle. A large number of policemen were deployed to foil the attempt by protesters to enter the embassy premises.
