They are: Sanjeev Kumar Tyagi, whom the report claimed as an ex-IAF pilot, but the IAF denied there was no such ex-pilot ever in the air force, Praveen Bakshi, the chief officer of Chandigarh-based firm Aeromatrix, and Gautam Khaitan, a Delhi lawyer who represents Aeromatrix.
In all, 15 people are being probed by the Italian police in connection with suspected payment of bribes and money laundering in the deal for VVIP helicopters for the Indian Air Force from AgustaWestland, says the preliminary report.
The 568-page report contains extensive details of the investigation into the Rs 3,546 crore deal and covers several businessmen, consultants and employees, including Indians.
