New Delhi: Since normalcy has returned to Vizianagram town since last five to six days, authorities have lifted the curfew for 14 hours on Sunday.
Authorities have decided to allow relaxation in curfew from 6am to 8pm today since the situation is under control.
Curfew may be officially lifted from tomorrow after a review meeting with officials, Vizianagaram District Collector Kantilal Dande said.
Curfew had been imposed in the town following protests by agitators over the formation of a separate state Telangana.
The Centre had given nod on October 3 for the formation of Telangana.
