New Delhi: With three more deaths reported today morning, the death toll in Rajsthan due to swine flu has mounted to 63.

A health department official said that at least 259 people have tested positive for the  H1N1 virus.

The maximum deaths have been reported from capital Jaipur where 16 people have died due to H1N1 virus. The capital city has also reported the maximum number of positive cases at 82.

Ajmer has reported 10 deaths while Nagaur has reported six.

Concerned over the increasing number of swine flu deaths in the state, the Rajasthan government has asked schools to give out information about the virus to students during prayer time.

The state government has also decided to set up separate out-patient departments (OPDs) in government hospitals for patients with symptoms of the disease.

Hospital authorities across the state have been asked to keep an isolation ward and ventilators ready and full stock of medicines required for the treatment of H1N1 influenza.

Earlier, Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria and former chief minister Ashok Gehlot tested positive for the virus.
