Bulandshahar (UP), Jul 10: Patients who visit the district government hospital here have complained that the sweepers and ward boys have been assigned the jobs of doctors and nurses by the hospital administration.
A sweeper was found giving stitches to a patient, while a war body was seen by India TV reporter giving injections to another patient.
There are 23 doctors posted on paper in this district hospital, but hardly any of the doctors are seen on duty, patients allege.
The chief medical officer of the district S H S Dhanu however said that the help of sweepers and wardboys is taken, only when there is shortage of staff.
