Suspected Maoist arrested in Bihar

Hajipur: A suspected Maoist was arrested yesterday with ammunition in Bihar's Vaishali district, police said.

Acting on a tip off, the police nabbed one Radhe Singh from Ghazipur Chowk and seized a country-made pistol and four ammunition, besides Naxal literature from his possession, they said.

A native of Saradhanesh village under Mahnar police station area, Singh was later booked under arms act and other provisions of the law and sent to jail, they said.
