Ahmedabad, April 5: Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams was in a jovial mood today when she spoke to India TV about her experience in space and her plans for the future.

Sunita Williams said, her first  lesson for Indian students would be "to do what you want to do in life, and capitalize on it."

She said, she definitely wanted to become a science school teacher, after she leaves NASA. "I want to tell Indian students that they can really do what they want to do in life."

About her experiences in the International Space Station, she said, she used to read the Bhagvad Gita and Upanishad while inside the space station.

"When you look out of the space station's window, you reall feel there is energy out there in space", she said.

Sunita Williams said, she really felt good interacting with students in Indian cities during her current trip. She was given a huge ovation by villagers in Gujarat, when she visited her paternal home.
