New Delhi, Sept 29: Mrinal Deep Singh, a BA LLB student of O P Jindal University in Sonepat was killed early Thursday morning, when his speeding Honda City car jumped the railings of Delhi's Lajpat Nagar flyover and fell 40 feet down to the ground.
Mrinal Deep Singh was resident of A-36, Sec 39, Noida and his father Manjit Singh works as general manager with Indraprastha Gas Ltd.
He had come to a pub in Nehru Place on Wednesday all the way from Sonepat and was returning at around 3:30 am early Thursday, when the crash took place.
The car, obviously running at a very high speed, flew over the railings and fell from the Lajpat Nagar flyover 40 feet below to the ground.
The front portion of the car was smashed, but the rear portion was not damaged much. The airbag burst but could not save Mrinal.
