Dehradun, Jan 9: It snowed in Dehradun after a gap of 60 years. Oldtimers say, the last snowfall took place in 1952.
A white sheet of snow spread in Rajpur and Kishen Nagar areas of Dehradun.
Large number of tourists are trekking in to watch the snowfall.
It rained the whole night on Sunday alongwith hailstones.
When people woke up on Monday morning, they found the city covered with snow.
The met department had predicted railfall and hailstones, but had not predicted snowfall.
