Srinagar (Garhwal), Mar 25: Six labourers were killed and 36 others were injured when an under construction bridge collapsed at Chowras near Srinagar this morning.
The injured labourers have been sent to hospital.
Local residents alleged that sub-standard material had been used to construct the bridge, and the contractors were changed several times by the state government.
