Chennai: Tamil Nadu government today transferred six IAS officers in the state, including two Additional Collectors.
According to an official release, G Prakash will be the Director of Handlooms and Textiles, while P Muthuveeran will be Director of Employment and Training.
C Samayamoorthy will be Joint Secretary in Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, while Hanish Chhabra will be Deputy Secretary of Industries Department, it said.
The services of Kiran Gurrala, Additional Collector (Development) and Project Officer, District Rural Development Agency, Sivaganga have been placed at the disposal of the Corporation of Madurai for appointment as its Commissioner, Chief Secretary Sheela Balakrishnan said in the release.
The services of G K Arun Sundar Thayalan, Additional Collector (Development) and Project Officer, District Rural Development Agency, Madurai have been placed at the disposal of the Corporation of Chennai for appointment as its Regional Deputy Commissioner, it added.
