Dehradun, May 18: Six drunk girls, among them a daughter of former BSP MP Haji Shahid Akhlaque, in a Maruti A-Star car on Friday hit a scooty driven by two youths in Dehradun Cantt area and tried to flee, but were caught and handed over to police.
The girls, all BBA students, were returning from a friend's party, when they hit the scooty. The youths fell on the road with head injuries, but followed the car and handed over the girls at Rajpur police station.
At the police station, the six girls screamed and tried to throw weight citing their parents' clout. They were sent to hospital for medical test, and were found under the influence of alcohol.
Strict action will be taken against the girls, said Satish Chand, CO, City, Dehradun police.
